Kay Stewart 's diving journey began in 2013 in Malaysia, where her first scuba certification opened the door to a lifelong connection with the underwater world. After becoming a scuba instructor in 2018 and a freediving instructor in 2019, Kay taught and trained across Southeast Asia, sharing the ocean with students from many backgrounds. Her teaching combines strong technical foundations, calm breath control, and a deep respect for the water.
Through Depth Dream Arts, Kay brings together scuba, freediving, mermaid, and underwater dance training with a focus on safety, confidence, creativity, and environmental awareness. She believes diving is not only about skill, but also about learning to move with the rhythm and flow of the water while protecting the marine world we explore. As the first PADI AUA Underwater Dance Instructor in the United States, Kay blends technical foundations knowledge with artistic movement, helping students feel comfortable, graceful, and connected beneath the surface.
